Spring Training Clinic for Champions

The Mets hosted the annual “Spring Training Clinic for Champions” at their Spring Training home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Over 50 special Olympic athletes participated in the baseball clinic at Clover Park where they got to hit, field, catch, and throw with Mets players and coaches including Brandon Nimmo, Brett Baty, Drew Smith, Joey Cora, Eric Chavez and Wayne Kirby.
The athletes enjoyed a beautiful day of baseball at the ballpark followed by lunch overlooking the newly renovated Clover Park Field. Each athlete received a Mets t-shirt and left with great memories of an unforgettable day!
