Senior Smiles
The Senior Smiles program is an event series focused on providing support, resources, and activities for the senior citizens in our community.
On February 7, the New York Mets partnered with Amazin’ Mets Foundation grantee partner, Carter Burden Network to bring our Senior Smiles program to the seniors at CBN Covello Older Adult Center in East Harlem! Carter Burden Network is a nonprofit that serves New Yorkers over the age of 60 through various services and programs, including advocacy, arts and culture and health and wellness. Members of the Mets front office and Mrs. Met joined CBN members for an engaging, mentally stimulating painting class. The seniors enjoyed Senior Smiles-branded giveaways as well as baseball themed snacks and refreshments.
