‘Sandlot Stars’ Hits Syracuse

The Amazin’ Mets Foundation partners with Pitch In For Baseball & Softball to purchase brand new equipment for youth baseball, softball, and t-ball teams.
On May 13, our friends at the Syracuse Mets teamed up with Pitch In For Baseball & Softball to pack equipment and host our “Sandlot Stars” program at NBT Bank Stadium.
We were proud to donate 30 kits of baseball, softball, and tee-ball equipment to local teams in the region. Come behind-the-scenes to check out our packing and distribution event. Through the Sandlot Stars program, the Foundation has provided brand new equipment to more than 3,800 little leaguers in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Syracuse, Port St. Lucie and the Dominican Republic.
