‘Eat Smart’ Field Trip to Queens County Farm Museum

Eat Smart, presented by Empire BlueCross BlueShield, is a nutrition program that encourages healthy eating and provides nutritional knowledge for young students.
As part of the Eat Smart program, the Mets and GrowNYC brought local students from P.S. 115K on a fun-filled field trip to Queens County Farm Museum. Students explored the grounds alongside Mr. & Mrs. Met, got the opportunity to pet and feed animals, learn about the history and importance of the farm, and enjoy a hayride.
