The Amazin’ Mets Foundation is proud to sponsor their second future service dog in partnership with America’s VetDogs.

America’s VetDogs is a New York-based national nonprofit created a service dog program to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance.

With our funding, we adopted an adorable, 11-week-old, male, black Labrador Retriever.

Named by Mets fans, Seaver will undergo basic training and socialization with the AMF staff, New York Mets’ players and fans for the next 16 to 18 months, starting in June of 2023.

The pup will have a home in the Mets front office, attend community events and select home games at Citi Field to expose him to various environments that will help mold him into a confident and calm future service dog.
