The Mets are committed to supporting the development of youth baseball and softball in their local underserved communities. Through a multitude of programs, the Mets Junior Mets initiative help introduce the game of baseball and softball to youth, provide access to equipment and fields, and offer clinics and camps to help with skills and development.
On February 15, the Mets plan to host 35 little league teams for an official equipment giveaway in Port St. Lucie, Florida. This is our third installment of the Port St. Lucie Sandlot Stars donation – 2020, 2022, 2023.
